We have used this service a couple of times. Online booking is easy, communication via email and text is excellent. Staff is friendly, helpful, and clearly want to make sure you get to your flight on time. I feel confident that my car is secure at their facility. Overall they make stressful travel days less stressful. Highly recommend.
Top to bottom it was first rate. Whether it was the reservation, the interface with all staff, parking the car, shuttle ride to and from the airport, phone contact- every element was worry free and efficient. If there was one recommendation I could make as a first-timer it would be to add one large sign at the entrance directing the driver to first check-in at the booth before parking the car. If you do have a sign it is not prominent enough to grab my attention. Thank you!!!
Leaving the lot the shuttle driver was prompt and friendly.
On arriving back I called to arrange pickup and spoke to a man with extremely broken English who made it hard to understand where we were supposed to meet the driver. We found it and after waiting 20 minutes in freezing weather arrived, we got back to the lot to find my car absolutely covered in bird crap. The passenger door had to be opened from the drivers side as the handle was disgusting. All this after a day of delays, a cancellation and arriving into NYC 8 hours late. They need to address the situation in their lot where birds are nesting. However I am grateful that my car was well looked after otherwise.
I was generally pleased by the service provided by Park 2 Fly. My only grievance was the difficulty I had in finding the place. The address provided was not correct. However, after a call to the office, I found the parking lot. Getting to and from the airport was easy and the drivers were prompt and courteous. My van (which I’m living in) was safe and secure for my 11 day journey. For the price, it was a great value.
Generally I had a great experience with Purchase Park2Fly, but there are a few things to be aware of before you book.
First, my GPS took me to parking lot Central 2 but the company operates out of West 2. I recommend double checking where your GPS is routing you and putting in the Performing Arts Center if you aren't being routed to West 2. Also, when you pull into the lot you can either wait at the kiosk for the attendant to return or you can go ahead and park, but if you go park you'll get a card that you need to run back out to your dashboard before leaving. I tried to go ahead and park to speed things up because I was cutting it close on my flight, but I ended up playing myself because I had to run across the lot on a hot Friday afternoon. The ride from the lot to the airport was quick - maybe a little too quick though. There were a couple close calls on the way but no accidents, so its all good.
There were a couple items that I needed to learn about how the place operates but it's a decent experience for a decent price compared to the airport lot. One star was deducted because the company van has a sticker that says "America: Love it or leave it." If that is the official position of the company, then I judge the company on their ignorant views. If it is not, I judge them on their failure to maintain their vehicles. On the other hand, even though they do not generally run the shuttle between midnight and 5 AM, the driver saw my flight was delayed and waited up until 12:15. I really appreciated that and it solidified the experience for me.
