This is an extremely small airport but runs very efficiently. Definitely do not have to get there 2 hours early, maybe 45 minutes to an hour before boarding time. I have CLEAR so it was really fast plus I had a 1 PM flight.
Picked up a friend at the airport today. Super easy to get to and you can just pull up to the doors of the terminal to wait. Very convenient!
Airport is super small!! Seating was lacking. The mini store in the airport was efficient.
It's a trade. The convenience of a small airport outside of NYC. However this airport is woefully undersized, constantly crowded, TSA can be painfully slow, no seating and everything is out of one giant gate. Probably 50% of the flights out here will be delayed. Almost no decent food options and the announcements sound like a PA system from a run down greyhound station that hasnt replaced its speakers since the Truman administration. The airport itself is way overdue for a refresh
