I called Montgomery glass and them at the same time as I needed a exterior door glass replaced fast for an apartment. It was 20 degrees out and cold air was pouring in. Montgomery glass called me back two days later, reliable was at the apartment within the hour, taking measurements, and installed new glass the very next morning. All of the staff was pleasant and easy to work with. They could have charged me a ton for a rush job but did not. The prices were great and they took care of everything. As a landlord being able to just make one call and not have to worry about it afterwards is a huge benefit! They will be the only glass company I use moving forward.
Update: I added an extra star (from 2 to 3) because after I wrote the below review, the owner did personally get in touch with me and wanted to make things right. They refunded me the extra half hour that they charged me, and I really appreciate that. It’s too bad this was an issue in the first place but I appreciate that he reached out and made it right.

I'm super irritated after dealing with this company. I stopped in and showed them a photo of my basement window which needed to be replaced. They said they could do it and the woman specifically said to me "Well, our rate is $xxx per hour." I told her that was fine (It was 100-something bucks per hour). She said they would call me to schedule an appointment. A week later, I hadn't heard anything so I called them. I spoke to the same woman and she said they hadn't forgotten me, had a work-order written up, but they just hadn't had the time to schedule with me and someone would be in touch. 2 weeks later I called again, and she apologized and said they had been busy but they still had the work order and would be in touch soon, and that they weren't putting it off or ignoring it just because it was a small job (which I asked her). 8 days later, she called me and told me she might be able to send some guys out the following day if they had the time. Two guys showed up, were very nice, and did the work in under an hour (they were out the driveway within 50 minutes of arriving). The replacement is fine, though I did find some small pieces of broken glass on the basement floor below where the window is. I got an email with the bill and the bill was over $300. I remembered being told it was maybe $125 or $150 an hour and I was surprised about how much 1 small pane of glass could cost. I called and asked the woman how many hours she charged me for and she said "two." I told her they were there for only one hour and her response was "but there were two guys." I told her I didn't realize that when she told me the hourly price the company charges for work, that it was per-person. Never in my life had I had a contractor who charges me an hourly rate PER PERSON. It was a job that could easily have been done by 1 person, just that two people happened to be there. She could tell my annoyance on the phone and she did promptly call me back and tell me she would change it to 1.5 hours instead of two and she felt that was "fair." I appreciated her lowering the cost, but by no means is that fair. If you're going to charge an hourly rate and do it per person that is there, you should inform the customer of that before hand. She said if it had only been 1 person, they still would have charged me 1.5 hours because of travel time. Not only have I also never had a contractor charge me for travel time, but I live 2.3 miles down the road from their location of business. I'm pretty disgusted about the whole thing and I think this is a really really terrible way to run a business and a very unfair business practice.
Team provided awesome service. The technician was friendly efficient and left my area clean, a true professional. They do house calls. Other places want you to take out the broken window and bring it to them. I will recommend you to everyone I know.
Reliable Glass & Door were contacted to provide a replacement pane for my Bay window, which was defective. They were professional, courteous, and installed the replacement window within 2 days of contact. The installers were absolutely wonderful! They completed the removal of the damaged pane with care, and installed the replacement with exceptional care, explaining what they doing. putting me at complete ease! True professionals, with wonderful senses of humor. I highly recommend Reliable Glass & Door, and will definitely defer to them for future services! Thank you all.
I called Reliable Glass & Door to come and replace a large picture window in the front of my house that was damaged. The window was about 14-16 ft in the air, so I wanted them to come see what they were getting into.
We scheduled an estimate for later that week and Josh came out to look at the job and give me a accurate estimate, which was similar to the price I was quoted over the phone.
Today, 3 guys ( Aidan, Will and Josh ) showed up right on time to do the installation. They took their time, they covered all the surfaces in my home, not only with drop clothes but with thick cardboard, and made sure they were able to replace the window and leave my house even cleaner then when they arrived. They were very professional. I am so glad I picked to use reliable, and will be calling them for all my future work. Thank you again !!!!
