Rosa's Pizza

I walked in for the first time with high expectations as I am from queens and grew up in 4 blocks from Rosa’s of Middle Village and over the years, I became friends with the owner of that location, Sal. So happy to see that his brother opened this Rosa’s not far from where we live now and it did not disappoint!!

The guy serving us was personable and pleasure to deal with and found out he was the owners son. Now although I did not ask for his name for whatever reason, lol, I will say he is nice and greeted us well and an I’ll extend a big thank you for that! We will see you again soon:)

This is exactly what I was craving and it has now become the #1 choice for us to get pizza her on the island. If you don’t know about Rosa’s Sicilian slice, you are missing out on what I think is the best such slice in New York. Give it a shot. So glad they are close by and can only wish the best to this gem of a famously successful family business!!

Picked up an Uber Eats order here on August 15, 2025, a Friday. Haven’t tried the food yet. Potentially no A/C, doors open in 80° heat with humidity. So just be prepared for it to be hot inside.

A little disappointed, when they first opened pizza was excellent just like in Queens however recently it has become sub par. Tonight’s pizza was undercooked and very liquid. When picking up a slice the slice would not stay straight causing the slice to bend towards the ground causing the toppings to fall off.

Also ordered mozzarella sticks that appeared to have been previously cooked just reheated. They were almost cold.

If I order next time will ask for the pizza to be well done and skip the mozzarella sticks.

Delicious pizza and rolls. First time ever having ravioli on a pizza slice and it was interesting and delicious, too. The rigatoni alla vodka slice was great. Dining area was clean and small, but still spacious with several tables and seating available. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Some parking available in front of the restaurant.

Let’s start off by saying this place is so clean You can literally eat off the floors They have the best chicken Caesar slice in Long Island. They have so much respect for the customers and they will accommodate you in any way that they possibly can. This place is highly recommended. I am a regular customer that goes there and there is not one negative thing I can say about this pizzeria. You should try it for yourself and let me know what you think. Been living here for 15 years and never tasted pizza as good as this place.
