Shanley Hotel

This hotel is only for paranormal folk. Do not come here for a regular stay. The building is historic, the place is SO VERY HAUNTED!! I have heard disembodied voices and had real conversations with spirits through scan radio and a phonics app. This is an intelligent haunt. There is a little residual but it is mostly intelligent. These spirits have a lot of personality, many a great sense of humor and the kids are sweet and silly. I never get enough of this place and always look forward to seeing the staff and getting to know the spirits better.

It's really not your average hotel. The amenities are very limited, but the whole point is the ghost-hunting experience. The hosts, Kelly, and Tiffany were fantastic. Highly recommended.

We had such an incredible stay at The Shanley Hotel! The building is full of history and character, and the atmosphere makes it a truly unique getaway. While we didn’t personally experience anything we’d call paranormal, the ghost hunt was an absolute blast and a highlight of our spooky road trip.

The hosts were also phenomenal - welcoming, entertaining, and clearly passionate about keeping this historic place alive. You can tell how much heart goes into maintaining and restoring the hotel and I really hope the restoration continues so many more guests can experience it. We stayed in the Roosevelt Room - it was very charming.

Whether you’re a believer, a skeptic, or just love historic and unusual stays, The Shanley Hotel is absolutely worth visiting. (Also, shoutout to Phasmophobia for the accidental training - turns out it’s great prep for a real-life ghost hunt!).

Awesome night. Tracy and Kelly were great hosts! Hotel definitely has spirits in it! Had a great time investigating with them. Only bad thing is that I was called fat by a child spirits! Still was an incredible experience! Thank you we'll be back!

I have visited the Shanley many times, but this was my first time hosting an event there. The event room is GORGEOUS; we had a blast and the decor could be kept to a minimum because it was already so beautiful.

My room was clean - in fact, the Shanley is probably one of the most well-maintained haunted locations I’ve been to. Clean rooms, polite hosts, and comfortable vibe with a lot to explore.

Tracy and Kelly are super knowledgeable and clearly care about the place and the accuracy and integrity of the story being maintained. Having a party is kind of like herding cats so I’ll say they were very patient that folks were wandering.

The spaces were clean, maintained and we all had fun in the gift shop the morning after.

Thank you SO MUCH for being the venue of my dream shower. Can’t wait to come back! 🖤
