Phenomenal check in. The lady at the front desk really nice. We were greeted with cookies and hot chocolate. Great clean room. Comfy bed. Follow up phone call to see if all our needs were met. This will be our hotel stay for now on when we go to Woodbury Commons.
Two adults spent 3 nights here in mid-September and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was a large king with a walk-in shower that was great except for some minor water leaking out onto the floor from the bottom of the shower. The hotel is several years old now and is showing some signs of wear from the last time we were here over 2 years ago but the room furnishings and common areas are still in great shape. Very clean. The main room area was nicely lit but the sink area in the bathroom could have used more light. No USB outlets but there were several accessible 110v outlets scattered around. The included breakfast was nice for this price range hotel. The hot food varied a little each morning with various combos of fried/scrambled eggs, sausage, sausage patties or bacon, bagels, bread, muffins of a sort, waffles, fresh apples and bananas, cereal and a very slow vanilla yogurt machine (never seen that before) but the yogurt from it was fine, packaged yogurt, fresh watermelon and what I believe were hard boiled eggs. The staff were extremely nice, as were the afternoon cookies in the lobby the one day we lucked into being there at the right time. We definitely will stay here again when we return to visit relatives in the area.
I stayed in Room 114 on 8/7-8/25. The hot water pressure was terrible. The cold water pressure in the shower was okay but the hot water pressure was weak and led to an uncomfortable shower. (See Photo) The wall and ceiling allowed a low bass noise to penetrate into the room. It was after midnight when I heard people running around upstairs for over an hour. I mentioned this to the front desk in the morning and the manager said I should have called to report it. The bed was comfortable and the food was okay. I left the hotel sleepy even though the 10 second cold shower did wake me up for a short time. Management did say they are aware of the issue. A big disappointment.
We originally had booked for Comfort Suites for our wedding weekend. But since it wasn't going to be open by the time we were there, we were transferred to Sleep Inn. It was great because it was still close to our venue and in a great area! The rooms were clean and we were gifted a lovely bottle of bubbly and a sweet card for our special weekend. The lobby was spacious and comfortable, we had no issues with the room itself, and we rested so well after a long night of dancing with our loved ones! Breakfast was average- nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Sleep Inn!!
