There's one gentleman there that's always friendly and smiling. Food is ok. I like when both sides of the bagels are covered with seasoning. My only real complaint is they're always out of most bagels by 1130/12. How do you not have a decent selection left at that time??
I loved everything about this place until they rang me up. The vibes were great, service was fast, helpful, and conversational! The sandwich I got was great as well. My single issue with this place unfortunately is a pretty big one. 10.75 for an egg sandwich w/ ham is nuts.

Really, really good NY bagels. Made fresh in store. I give them 5 stars. The rest of the food 4 stars. They’re not a gourmet deli. Don’t come here for that. Come for the fresh hot ny bagels and bialys and to support a small business.
Visited Slims after a very long time, there used to be line out the door years ago, barely 2 customers at 8:30am.
The Bacon Egg and Cheese was delicious, Bagel was fresh & perfectly toasted and nice thick cut bacon.
$10.25 for a BEC is exorbitant, pay much less even In NYC
Did see a sign for Bacon and eggs $5.75, cheese was an add on - expensive compared to so many other amazing Bagel shops around.
