I needed an emergency visit for my dog, Winston. Chris (receptionist) was terrific, and made sure that I got an appointment right away. Dr. Star was great!!! He did a complete exam of Winston, THOROUGHLY explained his diagnosis, and what the treatment would be (if we accepted it, which we did).
While he examined Winston, Ashley helped to keep the dog calm.
I AM SUPER HAPPY WITH EVERYTHING & EVERYONE AT SAINT JAMES ANIMAL HOSPITAL!!! So glad to have found our animals (1 dog, 4 cats) a new veterinarian!!

Dr. Star and his associates are professional and caring. Our corgi is terrified of veterinary visits, but they go above and beyond to accommodate us and make her as comfortable as possible and get the job done. The doctor takes his time to clearly explain everything about the vaccines and tests and never pushes extra tests or treatments. They truly care about the animals and their owners.

Thank you so much to the best vet office! Dr. Star and staff took such good care of Luna during the last 5 years of her life and our family couldn't be more grateful to have almost 14 magnificent years with the most calm and gentle husky who ever lived. We miss her so much.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Star and the care he provides for my dog, Tulip. From the very first visit, Dr. Star has been incredibly attentive, compassionate, and thorough with Tulip’s health. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, ensuring I understand what’s happening with Tulip’s treatment and why it’s necessary.

Tulip is an English Mastiff, and she is truly a big girl! Whether it’s routine check-ups or more serious concerns, I trust Dr. Star implicitly with Tulip’s care.

Dr. Star went above and beyond to ensure Luna’s health and happiness. They took the time to thoroughly examine her, answer all my questions, and provide detailed advice on how to care for her as she grows. Luna can be a little shy, but Dr. Star’s gentle and kind approach won her over instantly—her tail was wagging the whole time!
