Ours was an oddball request for service. When we moved into our new house (bought 2019, built in 2004) there were half a dozen light switches that we could not figure out what they were for. Over time the not-knowing grew more and more irksome. Jason and crew showed up and thoroughly traced circuits and performed tests over the entire house. When they were done we knew what every "mystery switch" was for. Puzzle solved! In the grand scheme of electrical trouble this may have been a minor nit to pick, but our peace of mind was worth it. A top-notch, professional, friendly job, start to finish.
Jason and Ethan were top notch. They updated two 200amp panels and setup a portable generator connection for us. I watched most of the work they did, which was thorough and done with professional care. Jason was great with all communication and on time in every regard. The two of them even braved today's surprise snow storm to get here and finish the job on time. Plus, Jason saved us thousands compared to the other estimates. We have a major remodel planned for next year, and you can bet Supra Electric will get the job.
I cannot speak highly enough about Supra's / Jason's skill, professionalism, knowledge, and work ethic.
My home's electric was in pretty good condition when I moved in so I kept a list of electrical additions and changes I wanted and, after about 18 months in the new place, I began looking for an electrician. My project included about 20 tasks and ran the gamut from installing a few more outlets and adding some dimmers to adding some outdoor outlets and lights to completely updating the style and configuration of my kitchen lighting.
Jason is very thorough and meticulous and is expert at managing time. He identifies solutions that only a skilled master electrician would find and he is aware of—and utilizes—new concepts and new products on the market.
Jason is a Master Electrician, and while he doesn't call himself a "lighting designer," I certainly think of him as one because he understands the function of a room first before he dives in with ideas. Case in point, my kitchen probably would have been as blindingly over-lit as a hospital waiting room had I been left to my own devices, but Jason got me on the right track and I am glad he did because most other contractors probably would have just done what I said (the path of least resistance is often not the best!) The kitchen now looks fantastic and seems bigger than it had before because of the different types of lighting in each station/corner.
An added bonus to working with Jason is that he has a very good eye for the balance between function and design. If you're on the fence about something, I would suggest you do what Jason recommends.
On the more utilitarian side of things, Jason and his team have no problem wearing floor protectors on their boots, properly protect surfaces with drop cloths, and throughly clean up before they pack up for the day.
Ultimately, it is very clear to me that Jason enjoys his work and his work is not just something he does for a living—and that makes for a very engaged, sincere, and enthusiastic person to work with. I highly recommend Supra and I look forward to our next project.
Very happy with Supra Electric! Jason was quick to get back to me about an estimate and very easy to communicate with. He and his team member did a great job with the four projects we needed help with. They were efficient, friendly, neat, clear about what needed to be done and put up with our barking dog! Would highly recommend.
We have hired Jason and supra for several years now. He is great to work with. Fast to respond and on time. His work is also very neat and I like the pdf billing right up so I can see what all the costs and quote was. So far we have had him do electrical heat wires on our roof for ice build up, installing led lights in our kitchen (big improvement), installing a new above stove microwave during the pandemic, and put in extra outlets in our basement and master bath.
