Land of ELITE

I began working with David Katz on my pool project this spring. From our first meeting, I was excited about my new pool. David is very creative, but he also listened to what I wanted. His concept took into consideration my house and my yard. I wanted something natural - like it had always been there. The end product was a pool and landscaping that exceeded my expectations.

There were some challenges along the way. David was very engaged - responding to texts and emails promptly. He assured me that my project would get done and I would be satisfied. That couldn't be more true. I have been so pleased with my experience that I will do another project with Land of Elite in the spring!

I would like to recognize Julio and his co-worker who worked on the patio. They are craftsmen. Also, to Peter, who pushed the project over the finish line. Bravo!

We recently moved into our home and we wanted to eliminate steps to the front porch as well as redo the driveway. Having no idea how to do away with steps and still have front entrance accesible we reached out to Land of Elite. David Katz came to our home and came up with a plan that I never would have come up with on my own. He envisioned a circular driveway that would come up to a new walkway to the front steps and also repalce the current steps. The driveway would then lead down to the garage where there would be a large apron. In the middle of the circle he envisoned a grass area with a flagpole in the middle. We had wanted additional lighting and David proposed some walkway lights and a large light post at the entrance to the driveway. My wife and I were blown away by the design idea and even more so by the finished product. The many workers who were here at various times were all personable and professional. David came by several times to see where the progress was. I highly recommend The Land of Elite, both for it's conceptual ideas and quality of work performed. Oh yes, we previously had nine steps leading to front door, we now have two.

After meeting with several contractors about installing a pool in my backyard, it’s clear that Land of Elite is in a class by itself. My initial call with the incredibly helpful Amanda filled me with enthusiasm for my upcoming consultation with David. And upon meeting with David and his assistant, Joe, I realized how fortunate I was to be guided by someone so knowledgeable and gifted. The word visionary comes to mind. It is inspiring and magical to see my property through David’s eyes, and they are just terrific guys to work with. No matter the scope or size of your project, if you love your home and property, you want to hire someone who treats it like it’s paradise!

My husband and I had a very unfinished space between our back deck and our pool deck. While we had some ideas, we were never quite sure what exactly would work well in this unusable area of our yard. We spoke with some local contractors and quickly realized that we would ultimately be the ones designing the space. My husband and I wondered if there was a company out there that would give us their input and their ideas because we wanted it to be perfect! I researched companies online that would potentially help with our design and came across ELITE Landscaping. The projects posted on their website are magnificent! The main draw for us was the design component. We contacted ELITE and, after a brief conversation with Deborah, was assured that we had found exactly what we were looking for! We made a consult appointment. David came to meet us the following week. He asked us what our ideas/visions were for the space. He listened intently and came up with a plan that completely blew us away! His design was completely unexpected and exactly what we wanted! It was amazing to see the design transform from thought to paper to the actual completion of the project. The work crew was professional, polite, extremely neat, hard working and very talented. It is an understatement to say that ELITE Landscaping has surpassed our expectations in every respect. From our first meeting with David we were struck by his professionalism, thoughtful attention to detail, and creative vision for our home. It was clear from the very beginning that we were dealing with an individual and an entire team that prided itself on delivering the very best.

As our project unfolded, we got to see what delivering the best meant: it meant that every single detail was carefully thought out, planned, and executed. It meant that when the inevitable hiccups arose (like an arduous town permitting process that stretched on for months and required an inordinate amount of additional hours), David and his team worked tirelessly and without complaint to move things forward as quickly as possible. It meant that David was on call and available to talk at all times. It meant that when we had a question about any option or decision, David could give us a thoughtful, reasoned answer about the various pros and cons. It meant that corners were never cut, and every step taken by David and his team was taken with the highest quality.

Our project—a gut renovation and complete re-imagining of our outdoor living area, with the addition of a new pool with two breathtaking waterfalls, a cantilevered deck with fire pit overhanging a steep hill, a sports court, a pavilion, and grilling/bar area—is now only weeks away from completion. Its beauty and detail are far beyond our expectations. But perhaps even more impressive is the seamless way that David’s plan is integrated into our home and the surrounding landscape. His design complements and elevates our house and property.
