I most say island house didn’t fail one bit there jerk chicken was amazing and it was our first time not mention to ms flavor hope I pronounce her name correctly her patience with my parents was amazing even though they where vegetarian they leave happy with there house salads Mac and cheese with honey ranch dressing kudos to Island house keep up the good work.

Island house caribbean restaurant". Work on your customer service people not begging for food we are PAYING for it. Not everyone has the time to cook so when people come to your establishment be professional. The crazy part is yall never have anything ready at the time is should be served, prices be out through the roof, and you don’t even bag the food properly but have nerve to be rude. See I can go on but here’s the thing your food is decent, you’re close to home and my family enjoys your food but I’ll kindly make more effort into time management to cook if I have to go to an establishment and leave as disgusted as I did today with NO READY FOOD AT THAT. Please do better.

We eat from this Jamaican spot weekly. One of the best in the city of Poughkeepsie. They serve a variety of Jamaica dishes. The flavors are on point and is exactly what you would expect from a Jamaica dish. The portion and price is also great.

I was so disappointed. For the price I paid for my oxtails… I expected to get some that had meat on them. I was charged more then 20$ for a plate of rice with a couple oxtails which barely had any meat. Not to mention the rice and cabbage tasted funky. It ended up in the trash.
