The experience, my family and I had was amazing very welcoming and family oriented atmosphere. The owner did an amazing job making everyone feel welcomed, and the food was amazing. I suggest trying the fried fish with the brussels sprouts

Very good atmosphere very good vibes very friendly service. The food was excellent. Every bite took me back like I was living back down south or back to when I was a kid eat a home-cooked meals from my great grandmother one of the best spots that I’ve seen so far my daughters who’s is one loves the macaroni and cheese. I recommend this place 100%.

Mixed feelings about this spot. On the positive side, the food was solid – not amazing, but well-executed and tasty. The setting was nice and we had a pleasant time. Unfortunately, the prices really hurt the overall experience. Paying $40 for liver and rice felt excessive, especially when you have been preparing and eating it all of your life and liver generally costs less than $5.00 per pound. I might return if they adjust their pricing, but for now it’s hard to see the value.
