Wish I could give them more stars. Today the crew took down 6 trees before 1:30, so it’s ribeye steak sandwiches and a French fries for a week well done. Everyone works harder when they know that the Meating Place is where we are going for lunch.

Generous Portions ! Friendly and clean ! The food amazing got double smash two chilli cheese dogs and fries !! Definitely will be my to go spot !

Their menu is limited, but sometimes I prefer that. I had the single smash burger with cheese, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, and mayo along with regular fries (they have steak fries, which are not my favorite type of fry, so I had my fingers crossed for it to be good.) All the items seemed fresh and had great quality. The food had the perfect amount of grease to it which helps add to the flavor and feeling of this type of food, but not overwhelming with grease. They give you nice cup of ketchup to dip your fries in and I did enjoy the fries (slight crips on the outside, fluffy on the inside, just how a steak fry should be).

The owners are very friendly and a joy to talk to while you wait for your food. The service was helpful and quick. I would be happy to go back and try their other sandwiches and hot dog.

Prices are reasonable and this is a much better place to stop instead of those fast food chain restaurant. Good food, good company, and good price, so if you have that I need a burger feeling, go here.

The Meating Place is serving up some really delicious burgers, sandwiches, and hot dogs at their food truck on Meriden Road!! The double smash burger was excellent, and the ribeye steak sandwich was perfect with just the right amount of cheese and onions. The fish sandwich was nice and crispy, and the lettuce was so fresh with it. They serve my favorite Hummel hot dogs too! We noticed that their prices were very reasonable, and they had plenty of picnic tables to sit at! The family running the truck was very nice, and it felt good to help support them! I’ll definitely be keeping their truck in mind as a great option that’s close to where I live!

Amazing people, and an incredible menu. Got a to go order from them yesterday, and HIGHLY recommend this spot. Great outside dining area, and they do things for kids and families like back to school movie nights.

The food? 10/10 without a doubt. My girlfriend and I ordered

The kids chicken tenders meal (which could definitely feed two kids, or an adult)

They were such great people and got the food out so fast with amazing quality I had no choice but to go into my pocket and give them a $20 tip. They were so grateful and happy for the tip they almost seemed like they couldn’t believe it. They ended up giving me a bunch of free drinks and bags of chips.

My family will definitely keep coming here until the day they don’t open anymore. Do yourself a favor and check them out. Thank you guys again for the great food and service
