The mini tacos were amazing and I could easily enjoy a whole plate of them. The Deviled egg was fantastic, the burgers never disappoint, and the margaritas were outstanding. It is great to see everything feeling just as good as it did in the early days. A truly satisfying visit.
It was an unexpected excellent experience! Rose, barkeep and server was great!😉 Food was delicious, amazing and innovative! We were very pleased! Thank you! And thank you Evan (head chef/owner) for historical tour!!
Another great dinner with my wife!
Rocky Hill Inn did not disappoint as one of the best burger places in NJ. Both burgers had fresh ingredients and a nice char. Cooked to a perfect medium.
No real complaints, maybe a little crispier bacon and the bun was a little mushy. Overall score was 9/10 for me. My wife has great taste, said it was a little on the blander side, she got the Royale Burger and I got the Pub Burger. Fries were generously portioned and very yummy.
French onion soup was great starter, would definitely recommend.
Pro Tip: Reservations are made only on the phone, have to call before hand. I walked in on 5 o’clock on Saturday and waited 40 mins for a table.
Also service was very quick and polite!
Rocky Hill Tavern is a great spot to hang out with friends, colleagues, or coworkers in the Princeton area. It has a relaxed gastro pub atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after work or on the weekend.
The drink menu offers a great selection of beers, though the cocktail options are more limited. However, you'll still find plenty to choose from to pair with your meal.
When it comes to the food, Vegetarian Burger and the salmon were excellent. The dishes tasted fresh and were clearly made to order. For dessert, the tiramisu and chocolate lava cake are both solid choices.
Overall, if you're looking for a casual and enjoyable place to grab a good meal and a beer with friends, Rocky Hill Tavern is a great option.
We enjoyed a leisurely lunch on the porch along with our dog. The waitress was extremely friendly and brought the dog bacon cheese and water! The food was delicious and we were not rushed at all. They are known for their burgers but we all ordered the pot pies and were very happy with them.
