I write reviews when it matters and only to help others. This place stands out on so many levels, but for me, service is everything and thanks to Gina it was beyond exceptional. The food, amazing and authentic. Can't wait to make this place a regular spot.
Delicious little place that was recommended by a friend. I got a kid size portion for my son for lunch. They have a lot of authentic dishes and sandwiches that are super fresh. They even have Italian products to check out. The owner was really friendly. Overall a pleasant experience. Great place to meet with a friend.
We were excited to dine here and it was not what we expected based on the reviews we read here. Started off with a bread roll each, no butter and looked almost like it was made with pizza dough (a good thing). They did have a cruet of oil that had pepper corns on the table so I figured that was for the bread, nothing to be excited about. The coconut shrimp did not have any almonds (not a bad thing, but it wasn’t as advertised unless they were powdered 🤷♂️). The zucchini croquettes lacked salt but were otherwise very good. The veal Marsala (not on the menu but they indicated on the menu they make other dishes) was good, but wasn’t spectacular. Tried the Pappardelle di Manzo, sorry I did, pretty pedestrian. I was able to discern one, yes one, mushroom in the dish and didn’t taste any ricotta. The dish lacked any real flavor to make it stand out, a total disappointment even though it indicated it was fresh pasta. They refilled our water glasses without any ice so we had to drink room temperature water, what’s up with that? For 2 people to have coconut shrimp, zucchini croquettes, veal Marsala and the parpadelle came to a $95 bill…..sorry, but to me, that was exorbitant amount of $ for pretty pedestrian food. With that being said, we will definitely not be back….they are lucky I rated it at 3 stars, my wife wanted 2 stars…I feel bad as I haven’t written a bad review in years, yet here it is…this establishment earned it.
Small, quaint fresh Italian restaurant which looks to be built of a residential home, but I could be wrong about that. The food is fresh and tasty, albeit somewhat bland for both my wife and I. While I do tend to like my food to be more savory, my wife's palate is more neutral and she even thought the food could use more seasoning.
The restaurant is a bit pricey for what you get. But the food is fresh and cooked well.
I was in the area for lunch and stumbled upon this gem as I was heading the street. This authentic Italian grocer and chef offers incredible ready to go specials and makes custom sandwiches too. They also do catering and party platters.
The espresso was outstanding. Fortunately they also sell the same beans and even espresso machines if needed!
A limited amount of seating is available both indoors and outside.
