So this used to be one of the best thin crust pizzas outside Italy (and I’ve been there many times) for me (and my family). I have recommended so many friends to go try it.
However, went to their new location recently and the taste has completed changed:
- the dough was too soft and doughy and didn’t look like it came from brick oven like before
- the sauce tasted like it was from a jar of Prego (if you are gonna use a jar than atleast use a good brand like Raos)
- no more real buffalo mozzarella
- I ordered the Margherita pizza with EVOO and I couldn’t even taste the olive oil.
My son ordered the Sicilian Pizza and said it tasted like it was microwave pizza . Honestly it reminded me of Chucky Cheese pizza.
The appetizers were not bad though
The service was great though.
Bruschetta and garlic breads are the winners. Kids loved it.. has their own parking , food and atmosphere is awesome. Would definitely return.
Honestly I was hungry waiting for a tow truck so I tried this place out.
Tinos artisan pizza. I'm not mad, but I'm disappointed.
Pizza was bland. There was almost no sauce. Two slices and a bottle of... mole cola.. Cost me $10.40.
Good thing i asked for the extra sauce or i would've been even more unhappy.
The cup of sauce I got was pathetic and didn't even last the two slices
Cheese was thin. Crust was burnt.
Positive things I can say:
The pizza had almost no grease. So if you like that... I guess enjoy.
Service was very good. And the building/seating area was comfortable.
Mole cola was good too.
I definitely couldn't recommend this place in good faith. I'm gonna go to a pizza place and get a sloppy extra cheese pizza to counter act this experience.
The best pizza place local to me. When you walk in it smells of as a traditional Italian grandmas kitchen. My boyfriend was craving pizza so I brought him here. He got the meatball pie. The face he made after eating the first bite was him falling in love with me all over again 😂. This place also has amazing gluten free and vegetarian options. I recommend this place to all my friends. Tight indoor dining but they have a cute patio outback that’s much more spacious. I personally always do take out.
