Cantor Wharton and Rabbi Shalhevet and the congregants of Temple Beth Emeth are friendly, warm, and welcoming. They bring a wonderful blend of traditional prayer and contemporary style to the services with music and youth participation and I enjoy coming to Temple. When I was going through a difficult time, they embraced me and were very supportive and I will never forget that.
For those who may feel disenfranchised, TBE is a welcoming shul that accepts all your differences. It prides itself in its egalitarianism and its quest for understanding in a world rife with misunderstanding.
