My partner and I stopped by Honda of Babylon just before opening to do a little window shopping; I’m expecting, and since we’re moving to the area, I knew it was time to get a car after years of city living. Javid was the first person to come out and greet us, and from the start, he was incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive.
He took the time to really listen to what we needed and helped us find a wonderful deal on a basically brand-new car that was the perfect fit for our growing family. Even though we weren’t fully prepared to buy that day, Javid and the team made the entire process smooth and surprisingly quick.
His professionalism, kindness, and genuine care made what could’ve been a stressful day feel easy and exciting. I can’t recommend Javid and Honda of Babylon enough. Thank you for helping us start this new chapter on such a great note!
Babylon Honda is an excellent dealership. They made me feel welcome and like I belonged there regardless of my financial situation.
I found Jay (Javid) on FB marketplace when he posted about a Honda Pilot. I sent him a message asking if he had any other vehicles for sale. He responded promptly and made me feel at ease during the whole process from start to finish due to his great communication and transparency at every step. I was in and out within 3 hours with my new Jeep Cherokee without any issues.
I highly recommend Jay and The New Babylon Honda to anyone in the market for a new vehicle!
I have had many transaction over the years with finance and leasing of vehicles. Over the last 12 years all Hondas. I have to tell you that this recent lease handled by Babylon New Honda was fantastic . I was greeted as soon as I walked in the Door. I got the car I wanted and no drama. They were respectful of my time, professional, and friendly. My Salesman Rich L, sales Manager Travis, and Finance with Anthony. The complete experience with each one of them was one of the best I have ever had. Do not hesitate to go in and ask for Rich L. you will be well taken care of and won't regret it. I can't thank them enough for a wonderful experience. Thanks guys!!
Poor overall experience - did not purchase a car.
I am a big fan of praising excellence, but equally like to be honest with experiences for the benefit of the community. I recently went to Babylon Honda to test drive a Prologue EV and consider whether or not to take advantage of some of the final days of various discounts and incentives for a lease.
I knew going there that they only had one in stock that had not been sold, and had a pleasant experience with the sales person ( believe his name was Peterson). Very professional, amicable, and gave a good guided test drive.
When we sat down to discuss availability, pricing, and options, that's when things took a very poor turn. As with most potential buyers, I had done my homework on various deals, inventory levels, recently paid amounts (Edmunds, LeaseHackr, etc.). The numbers that were shared attempted to use a trade-in value (which was stated, so was clear how the math worked) with potential cash-back to hide the fact that the pricing was 2-3x what published offers and deals would be. This is a shady business practice and would clearly take advantage of less savvy buyers.
I was then introduced to the sales manager, whose name I cannot recall, but he left a decidedly negative impression. He quickly became combative on numerous points, and when I stated that I knew inventory was coming in to a few local dealers he made such a big deal in disagreement that he called one of the dealers on speaker phone in front of me despite my clear indication that was not necessary (not to mention, he was wrong, that dealer did confirm inventory was coming, even if they had already received deposits for them). This was clearly a case where an individual's ego was more important that professional and positive service.
I will not be returning to that particular location in the future, although I remain a big fan of Hondas and Acuras in general.
