It's definitely one of the most beautiful areas of the park. In the cold weather I've seen snowy owls visiting and once in the late spring I saw a bald eagle. If it's left undeveloped, the wildlife will come!
Glad there is a nature sanctuary in the area of NY and very glad it has been left alone as a refuge.
I don’t think the people leaving these reviews understand what a “wildlife SANCTUARY” is. It is to be preserved. It’s not supposed to be landscaped and modified.
