My procedure was painless and fast walking around fine today.
excellent Excellent for Doctor and the staff was incredible. Everybody was kind and caring..
Only down side for me is time it took to see the Dr. And distance. I wish the dr. Opened an office in Middletown, NY
Superior, life changing.
I had serious chronic pain in the side of one foot next to and under the outer metatarsal. I'd gone to two other podiatrists (useless), an kinesiologist and was planning on getting MLS laser treatament. A friend suggest Dr Toback when I was complaining I need to get the foot imaged. I really only wanted the xrays.
He did the xrays, examined my foot, then had me stand and move around on a platform while he watched and took notes. He told me things about how I walked. I'd try to get from the other Podiatrists, two orthos and a PT to deal with a knee problem. I knew some of what he said but not all. It made perfect sense.
Turns out the issue is in a nerve at my ankle, no where near the pain. He gave me a shot that he said would also be diagnostic. The pain stopped. Eventually got two more.
Yes he also prescribed orthotics. Yeah they are not covered, that's the insurance companies fault not his. I had tried half a dozen OTC orthotics. Most made an issue with my knee worse. Eventually I found an insert with zero drop that helped some with an added wedge.
So I got the orthotics and life changing. The foot issue is 95% better. I can only occasionally feel something there, not really pain. When it acted up in the past I would be smashing my foot on the floor, trying stretches, doing massage, going to the chiro, anything. No more.
The real bonus from the orthotics is that my knee, which has been a problem for over 2 decades now is also better, almost 100%. I signed up for the coverage for the orthotics and will be ordering a second pair next month.
Compare, a few years of pain, multiple trips to useless practitioners, assorted OTC solutions on a guess vs not covered orthotics that fixed more than the foot...as the commercial say- priceless.
At *every single visit,* he attempted to sell me a product that wasn't covered by my insurance. After reading other reviews (for his Kingston office), I see that I'm not alone in this complaint.
