This shop was recommended to me by a friend as honest and competent, and did not disappoint. Turns out we did not need a new transmission, or some huge repair. They had our van in and out in a day at a very fair price. The shop was immaculate, and the staff very friendly. I would absolutely recommend this shop.

If you’re like me and you’re a woman who knows absolutely nothing about cars and is anxious to get work done, you can absolutely feel comfortable taking your vehicle to Transtek. The people there are so honest and never over-charge or recommend work that doesn’t need to be done. I always feel happy and have my expectations exceeded when I bring my car to transtek to get work done!

Needed a new transmission at 250,000 miles
Brought it in. They diagnosed and repaired the transmission in a short amount of time. New transmission works perfectly.
After the transmission was replaced it started leaking. I brought it back. They repaired the problem with no questions asked.
About a week later o received a call from Bob and he explained that he researched why it leaked in the first place He scouted chat boards he is a part of and found an issue where the transmission filter yoke get clogged up with gunk and messes things up and would’ve made the new transmission fail when it couldn’t get fresh fluid. He repaired the issue and works amazingly now.
The service was stellar and the after care was even better. They’re the highest matted transmission shop in the area for a reason. I hope I never need a rebuild on any transmissions again. And if I do. They’re who I’m going to use.
