This studio has been such a blessing for us. The coaches are exceptional - they teach discipline and respect in a way that’s uplifting, not intimidating. My son has built friendships, courage, and so much confidence.

My son was being picked on at school and we decided to give karate a try. This was by far a great decision for him. They have given him the confidence in himself to stick up for not only himself but others as well. He has found his voice to be vocal when he doesn't agree with others. He now has so much pride in himself and a much stronger positive attitude. His effort in school has improved and has a strong yes I can attitude. We are grateful for all that waverly martial arts have done for him so far and can't wait to see what the future brings.

When my daughter told me she was interested in trying martial arts, I was a bit nervous to be honest. I remember my experience as a child was somewhat mixed in terms of how it made me feel about myself and what was required. Waverly Martial Arts has been nothing but positive, encouraging and supportive. I like that the little ones don’t have to spar each other, but they do have partner work to hone their skills. They play games to learn some skills and are very well entertained. The amount of movement & exercise is top notch, not to mention, there is often music playing, and I can’t help but rock out during the entire class. This has been an excellent experience & I’m hopeful that my son will show interest one day as well! This school is outstanding.

We’ve been going to WMA for 5 years and we’re very happy with it. My boys are engaged and they work hard. They’ve learned how to defend themselves, set goals and have self confidence. The staff has been consistent, with the same core for the entire time we’ve been there. I think that says a lot about them. Highly recommend!

Waverly Martial Arts has changed our lives for the best!. I am so grateful I chose this path for my 3 children ages 5,6 & 9. A Family oriented Martial Arts School that extends a balance of physical strength/coordination/defense and positive personal character building above and beyond the Dojo. The devotion, knowledge, motivation and support the Senseis have shared with my children is seen in the positive change/ growth my son and daughters have revealed, not just to myself but more importantly to THEMSELVES. That they can!! All children are unique and my reasons/needs for enrolling them are just as different. In just a few months I saw significant difference in their focus, coordination, responsibility, and grades at school. My middle child was a very timid child who would cry easily. She was reluctant to enter Karate but once she made the choice herself she gained such tremendous confidence while having fun!!!! It's such a wonderful feeling as a Parent to watch your children develop and grow in a positive, warm, disciplined environment. There are only gains at WMA. I know that we have a long future together as being a part of the WMA Family because that's exactly how you are welcomed each and every class. Don't hesitate!
