I’m so glad this store is close by! It’s a small shop but they stock a wide variety of Asian products — I especially love the selection of Filipino items! They also have some fresh Asian produce at affordable prices (bok choy, gai lan, Chinese eggplant). The owners are super nice and always helpful.
Fantastic selection. They have all ingredients we need for any Thai dish.
Great resource, very friendly. Not only have almost everything I need, but usually the specific brand. Chinese, Thai, Korean. Limited fresh produce but usually find something there, too--Thai and Holy Basil, gai lan for ex. Have offered to get things they don't have.
Refrigerator/freezer section has variety of noodles, sometimes small amt of prepared foods (pork buns, banh mi, for ex). Prices are very reasonable.
This place plus Weee!, rarely Ma La Kitchen, has my Asian pantry stocked.
Once in a great while late opening. I believe owners, an older couple, drive a considerable distance. Worth waiting 30 min for. We are very lucky to have them.
I have been going to this store for a decade or so, and I'm amazed I've never given them a review. This is a small, family-run business and the owners are very kind. They get in fresh supplies weekly and have a wide variety of different products for being a small location. The family has told me about ingredients and how to use them that I had never worked with before, that are now staples in my diet. I have asked where I could find something they did not have and they were able to get it for me. This a lovely hidden gem and I always get excited to stop in: it's truly fantastic spot for anyone in the area looking to either try cooking new things or to get items you may have to drive quite a ways for or order online - all while supporting a local business!
Absolutely love this place. Shopping for ingredients to make noodles, they offered really helpful tips on preparing much of the food. Great advice. They are always really helpful, and kind.
