The owner, Joe, was very accommodating and I had been in one of his houses before about two years ago, but he believed in me and gave me another chance. He has multiple houses so there are often ways he's willing to work with you. He has multiple people that have lived in one of his houses or another that have been there for multiple years. The manager of his sober house, Steve, is always willing to give advice and talk to you, as is Joe. I had no sneakers and Joe gave me two pairs of nice sneakers. It's THE house you want to live in in levittown.

Before finding Destination Recovery, my daughter had been in two other sober houses, each for less than a week. While these houses were good places for recovery, they didn’t allow my daughter to follow her own path. They imposed a recovery method they thought was best for her, which didn’t work.

The Burlington, NJ female recovery house at Destination Recovery was different. They had the flexibility and understanding to let my daughter progress in her own way. After all, recovery happens when the individual truly wants it. Destination Recovery provided all the tools needed, including their own Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and full support of the 12-step program.

The owner made the transition from her previous residential facility seamless, and the house manager was excellent, forming a strong connection with my daughter. During the initial two-week blackout period, they provided transportation to an IOP (my daughters choice to attend). The house is in a working-class neighborhood, and during my daughter’s nine months there (before moving closer to home), there were no issues.

The NJ location is conveniently near a bridge to Bristol Pennsylvania and the scenic Delaware River, perfect for walks. I am deeply grateful for the role Destination Recovery played in my daughter’s unique recovery journey.

My name is Ethan Harris. I paroled to destination recovery LLC from prison in another state. They facilitated my transfer, supported me in my parole, helped me get out and gave me an amazing place to live. In addition, they helped me transition to society, helped me find a job, get my license back, and worked with parole and probation to ensure my success. Thank you destination recovery LLC!

Ive been living in one of Joes recovery houses for almost a year now and have had a fantastic experience. The house manager really cares and so does Joe. Joe works with me if I’m short on rent and helps me come up with a plan to stay in the house until I can pay.

    Thank you!

Great house, great people, solidarity and motivation. Joe is a very compassionate owner and truly wants to help people with the situations they’re in. The house manager may seem strict at times but he’s only doing so for the good of the house and it actually helped me pick up my pace when I initially had trouble getting used to chores, meetings, and curfew/overnight rules. Despite my unique situation and the amount of times I’ve fallen and had to get back up while here I have been treated exceptionally well on my road to recovery.
