The MBSR class with Brandon Lewin at Prancing Peacock was FANTASTIC. Not only was the broad range of content covered - in the weekly sessions and full day retreat across the meditation and yoga practices very helpful and useful, but equally impressive was the caring and supportive attitude exemplified by the instructor both during the conducting of the classes but as well through his availability and assistance during the week between the weekly class sessions. That meant and showed a lot to me in terms of his genuine concern for our development and care.
I have tried many forms of Meditation and mindfulness. The Mindfulness offered at the Prancing Peacock MBSR by Brandon exceeded my expectations. Brandon was a big reason why I enjoyed this class.
In my view this was not just a course but a beginning of a life long journey.
The mindfulness class at the Prancing Peacock with Brandon went beyond my expectations. Meditation practices, yoga, and a community spirit in a warm inviting atmosphere all combined to be a wonderful reminder and jumping off place for more practice and learning.
I just completed the MBSR course with Brandon and wanted to share what a truly life changing experience it was. I don't typically use that phrase, but this course had more to it than I could have imagined and the practice and personal attention and what I learned really impacted me. I appreciated the practical aspects of the practices and have already noticed benefits (like pain management and less stress), so I am looking forward to continuing. Thank you to Brandon and to MBSR.
The MBSR program requires commitment, but pays off beyond expectations, and one could not ask for a better guide along this path than Brandon. Brandon's warmth, compassion, and skill as a group instructor keep meetings productive and well-paced without sacrificing the opportunity for each participant to enjoy a meaningful, personal experience. Brandon's best teaching tool is his own way of being--open to the present experience of life from moment to moment, accepting of himself, others, and whatever life brings to him.
