Old Sarge, I've never been to PA. I live in Melbourne Australia. But I am enraptured by your business and local love that you seem to live and breathe on a daily basis. I hope to become more like you one day! I'm sitting with my best friend Blair who also says "G'day!" from down unda'!
I found this shop doing an online search seeing who was open and had .22LR cartridges in stock as the shops I normally go to didn't have any, and another one I called earlier wanted $30 for a box of 50 (talk about a price gouge). Dave aka "Old Sarge" answered the phone and said he had what I was looking for, at nearly half the price the other shop was asking, so I headed down.
The shop itself is as if you just hit 88mph in Doc Brown's DeLorean: cozy and quaint with plenty of firepower to choose from. Dave is very knowledgeable about firearms and even does custom builds of various rifles, and he's a pleasure to speak with. I walked out with the box of ammo I was specifically looking for, PLUS a box of .357 target ammo (another seemingly hard to find item) with a few other goodies to put up on the wall.
I will definitely be back in the future.
