Civita Care Center at Cheshire

I have been visiting my friend in Civita once a week for the past five years. I have also been her companion to multiple medical appointments both to help her communicate and to help manage her anxiety. My rating reflects in particular the outstanding performance of staff member Vasi. Vasi has been a lifeline, insuring that transportation is always scheduled appropriately and needed paperwork is ready to bring to the doctor’s office. She always insures a smooth and reliable departure so important for a resident with anxiety and dementia. This past year medical appointments were missed and needed to be rescheduled on days Vasi was not working. This never happened when she was in charge. When I had questions or needed assistance Vasi always tried to help. I have observed that Vasi always takes the time to be of service to anyone who asks. She is an example of the kind of staff so needed in work with our most vulnerable.

I have been at this facility since February 2025. The Care I have received from everyone at this facility has been exemplary. From the nurses, nursing aids,
Nursing supervisors, physical therapy, personnel, facilities personnel, social workers, front desk personnel, kitchen personnel, housekeeping and transportation has been incredible. if you’re interested in placing one of your loved ones for wonderful care I highly recommend Savita care center in Cheshire.

I've been to many places like this in fact my mother was in one and there's no comparison to Civita! It is 100% nicer and more welcoming. The halls and the patient's room we visited was very clean. There was no odors in the halls or in the room. Staff greeted us and directed us to room. I was very impressed that the patients lunches for delivered individually to maintain the warmth of their meal. Every staff member including Porter and Chester people all said hello to us and were very attentive! Overall I would recommend Civita!

This was the first day of my husband being in a short term rehabilitation center. The staff seems very friendly and helpful. I have the fullest confidence they'll get him walking again after spending a month in the hospital.

Civita Cheshire is a wonderful facility! They took such great care of my mother from the second she came in the door until the second she was discharged. My mother can be very difficulty to manage with her behaviors, however the staff showed great patience and care in managing her symptoms and keeping her feeling safe, comfortable, and occupied. Between the attentive nursing staff, shoutout (Rosie, Fran, Leah, Becky), administrator (John) welcoming my mother a smile and personal greeting, to the rehab boys (Josh, David, and Bob), to the recreation department (Miles and Cathy) always providing fun filled events, I couldn't be any more pleased. It's such a relief to know that if my mother ever needs to go for another rehab stay, I can count on Cheshire. Thank you all again so much!
