High tier payout better than lottery headquarters

I’ve been there several times. Excellent service. High Tier lottery is quick. Very nice owner, friendly and able to answer any questions. Great selection of liquor and was very helpful in purchasing some wine. I’ve encouraged family and friends to shop at DaDa’s.

The Ticket Agent wanted two forms of ID which I understand. I supplied my State Issued Driver’s License and a Federal Government Military ID. He then he wanted my Social Security number. Please note that this is a Liquor Store. The State of Connecticuit needs to do something different since i do not feel comfortable giving my SSn tio someone other than the state of CT. My Identity has already been stollen twice.

Question One: Why would I give anyone, other than Government Employees my personal information? My identity has been stollen twice already. Five years ago someone filed State and Federal taxes under my name with my Stollen Identity and again this summer someone filed unemployment under my name.

Question Two: Is the retailer a State Employee that has been vetted? How can I trust this guy with my information?

Question Three: I understand the state wants their cut and the feds too but when I supplied my driver’s license to the Ticket Agent, my CT driver’s License number is directly tied to my social security number and the State of Ct DMV has it in my Record. How do I know this? I just requested my driving record last month. With all the Identity Theft going on, Who in their right mind would give some unknown stranger their personnel information?

Hidden gem. Searched everywhere for a particular wine and no one had it until I stopped here. Great collection and price.
