I come here from time to time for lunch and it never disappoints. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating, the portions are incredibly generous, and the ambience is warm and inviting. It’s the kind of place that has a rhythm to it. Friendly voices, plates arriving like small feasts, the air humming with garlic and conversation. It’s the sort of lunch spot that quietly becomes part of your week, not just a meal but a mood. Highly recommend. 🍝🥗
This is the 2nd time my wife and I have eaten here. Great experience and great food both times. We've had Cacio de Pepe, Carbonara, Lobster Ravioli and Eggplant Parm. We find the portion sizes are large and we always take half home. The only negative is the location is in a neighborhood and street parking is the only option.
One of the best dining experiences of my life. Josh (the handsome young man who took my table's order) was fantastic! Very knowledgeable about the menu, super attentive and memorable energy. Truly made my time feel valued. The restaurant has great atmospheres. If I ever find myself back in Waterbury, I will coming back!
This place is right inside the same building as the courtyard we stayed at. Really quality Italian, my chicken parm was fantastic. No tap beer, but the double ipa bottle beer was really tasty. Brenda was our server - awesome energy and personality. We really enjoyed her attentiveness.
This has been my go to for great Italian dishes for probably the last 20 years! Their chicken parmigiana is, IMO, the best in CT! It is always perfectly crispy on the outside and never dry in the middle and their marinara sauce also makes the dish.
This time I opted for the grouper special, it came with potatoes and asparagus. The fish was perfectly flaky and very tasty.
There are literally no wrong choices when it comes to D’amelios! The menu has so many great choices, then they have a specials menu too. They are also offering the cheese wheel on Wednesday nights during the fall and winter.
