5 months ago, as a board member of a commercial condo for 30+businesses, I was tasked with turning our 30x40 building space into a fitness center. Chris Kelly at the Gym Store was easily the best of 4 bids we received - giving twice as many machines for the same price of the other offers - with all brand-new equipment. They provided a 3d mock-ups of the area and a detailed list of brands we would receive. He then threw in all sorts of accessories; wracks, medicine balls, kettle bells rope etc... No sleezy pitches or relentless hounding which I received from others. In one day, they moved in every piece - had a schematic prepared and worked like lightning (the guys who came were great natured). We were even able to switch out a machine the DAY-OF and were followed up with multiple times and warranties are great. FIRST CLASS SERVICE and LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. Employees are thrilled and it has improved the quality of life around here. THE GYM STORE has proven to be top of its industry in delivering commercial gyms for a more than competitive price. While I am slightly biased because I have personally known the owner of this company for a long time, my review is not about my previous relationship but rather about giving credit where credit is due to a company that deserves the accolades.

I previously did not have need for fitness equipment until I made a big move from CA back to NYC. I moved in to a condo building in Brooklyn, NY and shortly thereafter became involved with the board. At one point, the fitness center was a topic for discussion. The previous vendor the building went with was from Queens and provided the building subpar equipment that was just a shade above home quality (READ: to be thrown away after a few years). This is a common practice it seems as some dealers will sell a name brand product, however it is the lowest rung of the quality ladder. I decided to make a call on behalf of the board and asked Gym Store for a consultation.

The end result was a blend of new and refurbished equipment which worked within our budget but was also the same quality level of the equipment that you would find inside a commercial gym setting. Everything was installed by their professional team and ready for immediate use when Gym Store left. The investment in this huge amenity upgrade to our building was well worth it and I would only trust in this business for our future equipment needs.

This is the second time I have purchased a previously loved Stairmaster Stepmill from the Gym Store. I ordered the first one in 2012 and didn't have a single issue with it for 12 years, using it almost daily, in my hot garage in Arizona! When my first one turned it's last stair, I immediately went back to the Gym Store. They helped me navigate my options, answer questions and arrange expert shipping across the country.

Purchased 2 commercial Matrix rigs for my training studio. Very happy with the price but even more impressed with the customer service. Mike and his staff went above and beyond every step of the way. Highly recommend
