My experience at Hartford health has generally been positive. However, I must say that my experience while I was under treatment for cancer was super. I had my treatment at HOCC (Hospital Of Central Connecticut) Plainville CT. From my first visit to my visits this day were warm and welcoming. never felt I was in a medical facility. the staff was super friendly and always made me feel great. I never had to do anything except show up for my treatment which was always given to me with a lot of care and affection. The nursing staff was very friendly and extremely helpful all throughout my one year visit to the infusion center. My Surgean was very professional and understanding and was friendly and caring. Radiation therapy was no different the doctor was again very approachable and caring and friendly and so was the staff.
I had an exposure to the physiotherapy staff who I found were kind and understanding.
The last para has to be about my oncologist to whom I owe so much. He is a thorough gentleman, . A doctor wo listens to you and responds accordingly. He never ever skipped my any question silly or otherwise. his gentle manner and his treatment is the reason I am cancer free today. My Nurse Navigator deserves a special mention for being a great friend in the disguise of a nurse. I shared my live and my heart to her her kind looking face. Finally the facility of HOCC Plainville was impressive and like a welcoming community place where one could solve one's all problems may it be of testing, x-ray, ECG, physiotherapy, ultrasound, radiaation, and much more.

I would (and have) recommended Jodi Walsh. I have been seeing her for several years since my previous APRN at the practice left. I have found Jodi to be very thorough i.e. sends me to specialists/referrals to rule out issues b/f proceeding with different treatments. In addition she has been understanding and on top of my history. She is informed when at my appointments. The only challenge I've had is with scheduling in that she works only a few days in the Bristol location. However, I haven't had emergencies and the location has been willing to offer a different Dr. if Jodi is not available. Considering GPs & "old skool" Primary Care Physicians barely exist anymore, I'm pleased to have quality, professional care near by. The practice staff is pleasant, professional & efficient, the facility is modern & clean with easy parking, flexible hours.

Jodi is a very compassionate and professional provider. I have been seeing her for many years.
Being in the healthcare field myself since the 80’s, I can honestly say she is one of the brightest clinicians I have met.
