John is a talented musician and a patient teacher. My son quickly reached his saxophone goals with John’s help and has continued to gain skills each and every week far sooner than we ever expected. John clearly fosters a love and appreciation for music. I would wholeheartedly recommend John to anyone wishing to learn a musical instrument!

John was recommended by the school band along with a classmate who was already taking lessons.
We have now been take lessons for two years and couldn’t be happier. We are extremely grateful and lucky to have a musician with his level of knowledge and experience in our small town. My son really enjoys going to lessons which is amazing and the improvements he has made allows him to be confident in the school band. John has been a great teacher and role model. Highly recommended.

What can I say? I am obviously biased! But I do know how much John loves music - and teaching music. He has an excellent rapport with students of all ages and abilities. He plays many instruments and enjoys teaching music theory. As a person, John is an encourager, very kind, patient and considerate.
