Great Experience with a great Surgeon

I had my first hip replacement in August 2025 and my second in November 2025.I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Robert Kennon and his team. From my very first consultation through my hip replacement surgery and recovery, Dr. Kennon demonstrated exceptional skill, professionalism, and compassion. He took the time to explain every step of the process, clearly answered all of my questions with patience, and made me feel confident and cared for. Both surgeries went very smoothly, and my recovery has been remarkable--I'm walking more comfortably and regaining mobility. Dr. Kennon's expertise and warm, reassuring manner made a difficult experience much easier. I am deeply grateful for his dedication and for the outstanding care I received from him, his staff, and the care givers at Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden. The hospital staff was amazing! If you are considering hip replacement surgery, I strongly recommend Dr. Kennon.

Dr. Kennon was recommended to me by a physical therapist for hip replacement. At first I wasn't interested because his office wasn't convenient for me but she said you won't be sorry and I certainly wasn't! He is so kind and compassionate and most of all, knowledgeable. He listens patiently to all your concerns and you never feel rushed or foolish. His staff is great as well. I had to call the nurse navigator several times and she always answered my questions pleasantly. His PA Josh is just as knowledgeable and patient as Dr. Kennon. Midstate Medical Center is great. All in all everything went very smoothly I was actually driving again after 3 weeks (and I'm 80!) It's not a bad surgery and you shouldn't be afraid.

I have had an outstanding experience with Dr Kennon and his entire staff for both hip and knee surgery. Dr Kennon is a superb surgeon who delivers care with compassion. His MA Kelly was very responsive and addressed all my questions promptly. I highly recommend Dr Kennon and his practice for all orthopedic needs

Had hip replacement surgery March 20. Went home same day. I think doctor Kennon is as good as any surgeon in the USA. And he is caring called me personally 2 times at home to answer a question I had about how my new hip felt.
