I went for lunch with a friend and wish I took more pictures. Then came back for breakfast with my kids and the service both times was excellent. The food tasted great and I would prefer LA Terraza over many of the Mexican grill places in our area. The guacamole made table side is a great touch. They listen to any mods and love how diverse the menu is. The breakfast is great for all families. The funky monkey was a bit too oily for us but still had great flavor. The cannoli waffle could use more topping. Otherwise, great food and great service. It is a must try for lunch/dinner and breakfast!
The service was excellent, no issues having the grandchildren! Food was excellent, Summer salad with the house dressing was so good. Our table had a bowls, burrito, tacos and quesadillas- all received rave reviews! Decor is captivating and the cleanliness is to be commended.
👏🏼 The tacos, wings & dessert we ordered there to go was delicious, we’ll be back to dine in soon! 🙏🏼
We had been curious to visit La Terraza since they opened, so before we went to Rich Farm up the street, we decided to check them out for dinner. The staff was kind, and there was plenty of seating on the main level, upstairs, and outside. One of the first things we were surprised to see was that they had only non-alcoholic options. We asked, and they said they’re still trying to get their liquor license and that they’re BYOB. I understand, but definitely a little bit of a draw back and unexpected from a Mexican restaurant. The menu had a lot of options, including breakfast which I’ll have to keep in mind, and the food came out quickly. The guacamole was prepared table-side, and though nothing was bad, it just didn’t beat our favorite in our hometown. I didn’t find it to be super authentic tasting, and the rice and beans definitely lacked flavor. Good option to have in Oxford though.
My husband and I decided to go for Mexican this evening and we happen to be in the Oxford area. We decided on this place because the outside looked appealing. When we entered, the decor was really pretty and festive. It definitely gave the vibes I believe it was going for. The music was also great. The service was also great. It got pretty busy however, our waitress was still very attentive. The reason I gave it three stars is because my husband and I agreed that the food was just OK. Most of it lacked flavor. The al pastor taco for example was not the best. It tasted like they just added the pineapples on top and did a quick mix. It wasn't really a combination of the meat and the pineapple an al Paso taco usually gives. I was not a fan of the corn tortillas at all as well. The churro was a bit dry maybe having it with a dipping sauce or ice cream would be a better combo. The rice and beans lacked flavor and this was honestly my least favorite chile relleno I've ever had. My husband enjoyed his torta. I unfortunately would not return here for food.
