Adult Day Care centers are critical in terms of supporting area seniors and offering their working adult family members an opportunity to earn whilst coordinating family Care. Sara of Washington Home Care LLC
My mother has been attending Old Glory Days for over six months. We’ve been very happy with her care. She has advanced Parkinson’s and is unable to move on her own; the staff assists with all her needs and the activities, games, crafts and social engagement the center provides keeps her alert and socialized. She looks forward to her days at Old Glory Days, and we know she is well-looked after and safe. The staff communicates with me weekly—sometimes several times a week—to discuss medications, when she’s having an off day or any other issues that come up. Everyone is friendly and caring and it’s a wonderful place.
Amazing open house and a very warm welcome. Emily is a rock star and her attention to detail is superb. Thank you for all you do!
If you are looking for a smaller environment for your loved one, I HIGHLY recommend Old Glory Days, an adult daycare and assisted-living facility in Watertown, CT. In my opinion, it is the best facility in the area.
Emily Slattery, The Director, has a genuine passion for seniors and their care. She has developed excellent programs at her two adult care facilities, providing seniors with opportunities to socialize and participate in various activities.
In addition to the daycare services, the Watertown location also offers an assisted-living facility which offers a home-like environment with a very low CNA-to-client ratio. This ensures that residents receive individual attention to meet their specific needs.
Emily and her staff had been taking care of my father at the Newtown adult daycare 4 years ago and we recently transitioned him to the Watertown assisted-living facility from an out-of-state facility, where we had a horrible experience. The care and attention Dad receives at Old Glory has been exceptional.
