I came up for a Funeral and stayed at the Plume House Bed and Breakfast. Kay and her Husband welcomed us in and were such great hosts. There is so much great history in that house. The food was amazing. Top Notch. Highly recommend if staying in the area. We will be back.
Terrific service and a stunning atmosphere! I brought my book club of 12 to the Plume House Inn and we were blown away. The space is beautiful and perfect for group discussions. Also, the afternoon tea was out of this world good—highly recommend for anyone looking to host a special event or a high-level book club meeting!
This was second to none the most charming and memorable bed-and-breakfast experience I’ve ever had. Little Thomaston, Connecticut is a beautiful and historic city with a lovely brewery and gorgeous Opera House. The home itself is like stepping back in time; every decoration, every book and around each corner lies another delight, some surprise. Kay has such an attention to detail and has spared no expense to ensure the guest experience is truly unique. The breakfast was outstanding and she even had a special birthday teapot for my wife. We ended up spending half an entire day there just playing chess warming up by the fire and chatting with the husband and wife that have made their bed-and-breakfast dream a reality. This trip Thomaston was on the way to our destination. Next time Thomaston will be the destination and the only place I would consider staying. Is the Plume house Inn.
Our stay at the B&B was beyond amazing. For a holiday weekend, Kay was the best host. She didn't skip a beat given her and her husband also have a secondary job as Santa & Mrs. Claus. This is more than a business. Kay makes you feel at home. She welcomes you with warmth and filled our bellies with the most delicious breakfast. You all must stay here if you're visiting the area. The home is warm and inviting and full of all the charm and is a step back into history. Thank you, Kay, for helping us relax on a very busy weekend. With gratitude, The Julians.
Spent the weekend at this beautiful B and B. The house is warm and inviting, filled with antiques. The hosts are just amazing. Kay presented a 5 star breakfast which not only tasted delicious but was beautifully presented.
