Witsend Farms

I stayed at Witsend as an Airbnb guest and had an amazing experience. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly well cared for. It felt like a true escape from home in NYC while still being comfortable and thoughtfully set up. Whether you’re staying for a weekend getaway or a special event, Witsend is a really special place. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

My fiancé and I have dreamt of an "Old Country Estate" wedding for many years and that is EXACTLY what we got at Witsend Farms!
Let me start by saying "This is NOT a drive-by...DO the tour". You will not want to leave!
The 17th century home is huge! It has so much original charm yet updated with everything you could want. It felt like home, just way more luxurious than we're used to. Professional kitchen, updated bathrooms, gorgeous bedrooms, many rooms to hang out, plenty of seating/couches, dining room, breakfast nook, etc.
We booked this breathtaking estate for 3 nights to allow ourselves enough time to customize the property for our "special day".
We had a large family rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding day on the spacious, fully furnished outdoor stone patio (which conveniently is right off the kitchen).
On our wedding day we had our DJ, two bartenders, and appetizers in the backyard proper with several bistro tables scattered throughout and balloon centerpieces. The guests strolled around the yard and were thoroughly impressed!
After cocktail hour we all walked up to the holler for the MOST beautiful outdoor dinner we have ever had! We ate underneath the plentiful string lights at dusk, gave a speech, and got to enjoy the company in this most impressive setting!
After dinner it was just a few steps to the Tent/ Barn area where we had more tables and chairs for dessert, dancing, DJ, and drinks. This area is perfectly flat and is well sized for a very large party tent along with a great spot for a bathroom trailer. We had 100'X40' tent and it fit perfectly. Outside of the tent was still well-lit with string lights. As the night went along and darkness fell, nobody wanted to leave! Everyone knew they were at a "special" place.
We did a church ceremony, but the owners have built a stunning "exclusive" area should you do your vows on-sight. (You need to see it).
This place was truly the perfect backdrop for our "dream" reception, and the wedding photos came out perfect with the natural landscape! Professionally manicured grounds, large exotic flower garden, gazebo, barns, natural pond, and countless plantings of all types and walkways.
Witsend Farms has burned wonderful memories into our newlywed hearts. We want to do it again! LOL
The owners gave us great advice, tips, and recommendations. They helped us a great deal to make sure that we had "The Perfect Day", and WE DID! They are truly GOOD people who CARED about our event. 100%.
