I never had New Haven style pizza (apizza?) before and wasn't sure I would like it (burnt/crunchy things are not in my wheel house). I was delightfully surprised to discover I really enjoyed it. Not sure how this compares to others, but I would love to get this again (unfortunately I live far away). The thin crust was light and crispy, not tough or crunchy. Sauce was real good too. I got a Neapolitan, to try to judge the pizza itself. They did have some other specialty pizzas I'd love to try. I did eat the whole thing, and am contemplating getting another, so not the most filling but I eat more than most people. Also need to take advantage of the opportunity while I'm still in the area. Heads up, no dinning at the restaurant.
Never ate inside, but picked pizza up. Close to home and neighbor to my Son's barber shop, (The Fade District). So many specialty pizzas to choose from and just delicious!!!! Cooked to perfection every time.... FIVE stars in my book!!
felt very ripped off tonight. Ordered a half clam half stuffed shrimp pizza tonight and was charged $45 for the one pizza. A plain cheese pizza later my bill was $65. Pizza was good but again felt ripped off. Too much good pizza in this town to return.
Update One Year Later:
Much better with being ready on time, service and quality!
Update:
Service is getting worse and worse, they are in much need of a good manager!
Great new haven style apizza. Food quality always amazing. The only reason for 4 stars is the staff is very unorganized even after the remodel there are long lines and longer waits than time told on the phone!
