Busters is definitely one of my go-to’s when I’m not particularly in the mood for anything. It’s close to home and I’ve never had a bad experience. The only downside in my opinion is that they are cash only but I understand. One thing I would suggest is to ask for certain items like the clam strips well done or extra fried because they come out soggy. I love their milkshakes and they have many flavors. If you are getting maple walnut or toasted almond I would suggest calling ahead because they run out of those flavors quickly.
Nice outdoor drive in. Priced a little high. I got a 12 inch chili dog to go. It was 4 stars yummy. I'm looking forward to trying a burger.
Today's installment in my summer-long quest brought me to Buster's Drive-In. I got the half-pound burger (two quarter-pound patties), large fries, and a chocolate shake. All was delicious. The one drawback was that they mixed my order up with someone else's, and I had to wait an extra few minutes for my meal to be prepared.
Mistakes happen, and this was not a huge deal, except my shake was no longer as cold as I like it. Otherwise, it's a great meal, and I will return.
2 stars for friendly service, but the food is not great and was too expensive for what it is. I could have gotten more food at Wendy's for $20. I ordered 1 large drink, a burger, a 5 PC chicken tenders, and a small fry. It was $19 and change. The "tenders" are like flat long chicken nuggets, they taste like schoolyard chicken patties, and were $7. The fries were undercooked and unsalted and the burger was like a frozen patty. Unsatisfied, was hoping for a good new place to try. Really wish they had "platters" or meals that came with sides and not individually sold. Maybe thier hotdogs and ice cream is better?
