Amazing place to stay! Our favorite in Litchfield Hills area. Great hospitality by all. New rooms, very comfortable. It’s like staying as guest in a home. Very quiet, clean and lovely kitchen with good eats. Great coffee and tea options. Simple the BEST!
Kent Collection is a favorite getaway of mine. My most recent stay was at the Bunk House, which was all decorated for the holidays—complete with an adorable Christmas tree! All of the decor is thoughtfully put together and the cottage is incredibly cozy—so much so, I didn’t want to leave! (It’s so easy to spend the afternoon relaxing by the fireplace with a good book or head outdoors to the fire pit for s’mores roasting.)
The cottage is also dog friendly so you can bring you best furry friend(s) along for the fun! My pups loved playing in the yard and curling up by the fireplace. There is even a plush alcove “bedroom” for dog visitors.
Located right in the heart of Kent, steps away from boutiques, quaint eateries, and my fave, Wilson’s for coffee and morning/afternoon treats and 45 on Main for gourmet hot chocolate. A quick drive to Kent Falls for hiking and beautiful views.
Keli and Joseph made the stay extra special—they are so welcoming!
What a wonderful oasis - the Firefly Inn. I had the opportunity to stay 3 times this fall. Changes to dates/ arrival times were gracefully made. I enjoyed breakfast in the sunny breakfast room, sipping excellent coffee. Work and weather kept me inside one afternoon to work in the beautiful dining room. Rooms are cozy and beautifully appointed with lovely light and windows. Keli, the inn Keeper will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. If you are looking for accommodations in this area, nothing will touch this property.
We absolutely love The Firefly Inn. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the start and the warm welcome from Joe, to the end - we were very sad to leave.
The rooms are very very comfy, I could have stayed in bed all day.
The building was very quiet at night even though the car park was full you couldn't hear any other guests!
The free snacks / drinks available throughout the day are a great addition as well.
We would love to stay again at this inn, do not hesitate to book!
The Victorian was such a charming place to stay on our visit to Kent! Enjoyed its proximity to town as we were able to enjoy a lovely walk to dinner each day.
Close to many gorgeous hiking trails, we enjoyed the whimsical and gorgeous decor of this Victorian home. Comfortable and clean, our room was bigger than expected with access to many modern amenities in the house (chef’s kitchen, dining room, bar with snacks, siting room and library with many board games and books). People often worry about noise in old homes, but quiet hours were respected and we had no issues with noise during our stay.
Special shoutout to the innkeeper, Joe, and housekeeper, Darla, who were warm and consummate professionals! Great value - can’t wait to come visit again.
