I highly recommend giving this new place a try! We went last weekend and got the lunch sushi roll special, it was very good. I normally don’t eat sushi, but wanted to give it a try and I enjoyed it so much! We will be coming back.

The food was so good, I had to come back a second time before leaving the State. The Good For You Roll, hibachi veggies and rice, Japanese dumplings, were perfection and presentation was beautiful. And the green tea, made with fresh leaves, was just icing on the cake. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and service is attentive, although the space itself is older. Hibachi is cooked in the kitchen and not tableside, but it's by far the best tasting hibachi I've ever had. In short, Tokyo is a great place for sushi and hibachi and rivals the more established Japanese restaurants across the State. Definitely worth a visit. 👏 👏 👏

1st time ordering here since it changed. I was so excited for a sushi place to be so close. Unfortunately one of my sushi rolls isn't what I ordered. I ordered a Spiderman roll and it had avocado and cucumbers inside instead of the mango and cream cheese ingredients. I'm not even sure the tobiko was in there. The avocado and cucumber did not pair well with the soft shell crab. Just disappointing. The hibachi dinner was decent. I wished my salad wasn't inside the bag with the hot food, made the lettuce wilt. :-( After spending over $80 on dinner, I wished I was 100% satisfied but the Spiderman roll was a let down. If they needed to substitute then maybe they should let the customer know.

First time trying this spot after seeing it become so popular online. I can say I was very impressed. Great food and friendly staff. However, the restaurant is new so I understand having to get the hang of things, but I didn’t like the fact that my boyfriend and I waited probably 5-10 minutes before being acknowledged & seated. We did wait a while for the food, even the appetizer. Owner apologized for the wait and said they need to hire more people. Once this place gets the amount of staff needed, it’ll be a 5 star rating. Keep up the good work and good luck with the restaurant 🙏

This is my second time eating here the first time I did takeout and did the 2 sushi rolls for $11 and the shrimp tempura and california roll was delicious and fresh. Second time around I’m dining in and got taro milk tea, tokyo roll(special) and chicken hibachi lunch. The hibachi is solid considering they don’t cook right in front of you but the flavor is sweet/salty and pleasant. Tokyo roll might be one of my favorites i’ve had at any sushi restaurant. Taro milk tea is as good as other competitors. Inside of restaurant needs work but that comes with time its not easy being the new kid at school and right now thats what this little hole in the wall hidden gem is. People seem to be review bombing them because they think its still the old chinese restaurant thats been there for years
