They are really good !
Rite aid used to screw up all the time. The hours are a bit rough but, they are on the ball, for sure
Wolcott Pharmacy has been a great alternative to Rite Aid — up until today. Joanna, who has always been warm and helpful in the past, lost her composure today when I asked the clerk her opinion as to why our doctors are only refilling one prescription at a time and whether it had to do with the medication itself. Her tone was unprompted, and the way that she shouted at me was humiliating.
I understand that pharmacy work can be demanding and stressful, but what I experienced today was unnecessary and, frankly, unsettling.
I’m disappointed, because my prior experiences here have all been positive. Despite what happened, I genuinely hope Joanna and the staff can reflect and improve going forward. That said, I won’t be returning.
For context, this is the first Google review I’ve ever rated below 3 stars — and while today’s experience warrants 1 star, I’m exercising some restraint by rating them 2 by basing it on my overall experience with the pharmacy, not this incident alone.
Wolcott Pharmacy is the best pharmacy I’ve ever had! I rarely have to wait in line, and the staff is very helpful and attentive. Going here is a much better experience than the larger pharmacy/convenience store options. Every time I go there to get prescriptions, I feel like they go above and beyond expectations tiptoe a pleasant experience.
I recognize that Wolcott Pharmacy is currently overwhelmed with Rite Aid closing but I followed up with them three time regarding the request I submitted for them to transfer my medication. The last time I was told everything was all set. I got a text today from CVS saying my scripts had been successfully received (this is where Rite Aid was sending people's meds if a request wasn't submitted by another pharmacy). I just wish Wolcott Pharmacy was honest with me and told me upfront that they didn't have the capacity to take on more clients. I wouldn't have wasted so much unnecessary time and effort.
My husband has some difficult prescriptions to fill and when we were getting squeezed by Rite Aid and then CVS not filling his very important prescriptions on time I gave Wolcott Pharmacy a try and they helped us out immediately. They have the personal touch and our prescriptions are always ready so I don’t have to worry. The delivery service they offer is extremely helpful as well.
