We tried dinner and food served was decent, less crowded but busy place for take outs.
Worth a visit and food quality was also good. Chicken quesadillas, chilli paneer and lachaa parantha was stand out dishes in our order.Other dishes were also good.
Will rate overall experience as 8/10 and will surely recommend.
We had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Aangara in Keyport! The saag paneer was rich and perfectly spiced, the tandoori chicken had just the right smoky flavor, and the chicken biryani was beautifully aromatic. The orange kulfi at the end was a delightful treat. The service was warm and welcoming. Look forward to coming back. Highly recommend this gem!
A must-try for authentic Indian food in Central NJ! This restaurant serves some of the best and most authentic Indian dishes we've had in the area. The curries and Biryani were fantastic. A special shout-out to our server, Sandrol, who provided exceptional service and ensured we were well taken care of throughout our first visit. Highly recommend!
This is a big turned into a restaurant. Very good and cozy vibes. It is spacious enough tho! Hara bhara kabab, crispy corn chaat, malai paneer sizzler (not pictured), amul cheese butter masala dish and haryali paneer tikka ( best one)! Cute little complimentary sweet treat at the end. Decent prices and quantities.
We’ve dined at Angara multiple times, and each visit has been exceptional. This charming, long-standing establishment offers a warm, homely atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The food is consistently outstanding—bursting with authentic flavors and prepared to perfection. Their black daal, flavorful vegetarian & non-vegetarian curries, and Indo-Chinese street-style dishes are absolute standouts. The kokum drink is a refreshing highlight that pairs beautifully with the meal. The staff is always friendly and attentive, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. Angara never disappoints. A true hidden gem—highly recommended!
