I was unable to walk with a pelvic pain three weeks ago, and had been walking with fear since. Rebecca Keller diagnosed my problem by examining different movements that I can do without the pain, and told me that my symptoms are unlikely to be caused by a tear or facture or urological. Her diagnoses were proved right by subsequent urologist visit and MRI imaging. Most importantly, she helped me to overcome the fear of walking by training different muscle groups and PT.
After having 3 kids my core isn't what it once was. I still suffer from diastasis recti even though my youngest is 2 yo. Dr. Becky Keller is helping me learn how to breath correctly to stimulate fascial healing. But it's so much more than, breath work. This is exercise. I'm so curious about trying the small classes she offers with hypobaric (low pressure) fitness to also aid in my ability to rediscover my core strength. She was recommended to me by a friend who came for pelvic floor therapy. And I will definitely be sharing her name anytime the all too common post-birth issues come up in conversation with friends and clients.
Love my 1:1 sessions with Becky and also her group classes which are fantastic. I’m making good progress in a short time, Becky is a trusted voice in the field and I can see why because her approach cuts through all the noise. I also appreciate the admin staff at Activcore - anyone I’ve spoken to has always gone out of their way to help me. Many thanks!
I use and believe in PT. I snow ski, motorcycle on and off pavement, and do a variety of crafts like welding and wood working. I'm 75. As a result I get dinged, break things, and need to be put back together. I have used ActivCore PT on several different occasions and am well satisfied with the results.
Currently I'm working on repairing an abdominal separation, strengthening core and pelvic floor, and learning to breath correctly.
Becky is the therapist working these problems with a combination of movements, exercises, and stretches. Everything is low impact and achievable. We have been working for 3 sessions and I begin to see improvement in posture and breathing. As we progress I expect to do more the "red cord" system. This approach uses ropes and pulleys to isolate movement to the desired muscles and body weight to provide the load.
Like all PT it takes work and dedication to achieve results. There is no magic bullet.
Becky Keller is amazing! She is unbelievably knowledgeable about what she does and passionate about helping people feel better, naturally, which is important to me. I saw her three times for help with my pelvic health and I learned so much! She taught me how to heal myself. I feel like that just doesn't exist in most places anymore. I'm excited to take her 6-week series on Hypropressives Exercise, and I'm looking forward to sharing her name with my clients at my holistic wellness practice. I highly recommend Activcore PT!
