I've been working with Audacity for the first five years of my VO journey, but I knew it was time to step up. Enter Uncle Roy's two hour Adobe Audition config/tuning session!
In closer to three hours, Roy built for me a set of shortcuts and macros that make any arduous task just a button press away. Noise floor? Lower than the depths of hell. ACX specs? Nailed. Setups for comercial, audiobook, and even dubbing jobs? All sorted.
It was great to have such a learned (and affable) coach walk me through all of my new workflows. Now I see why folks prefer Audition. Self-healing track edits alone are worth their weight in gold!
