Dog beach is a great place to bring your dog. Some dogs are off leash but all owners seem to be very responsible. There is a shower and hose to clean up your dog and yourself when getting off the dog beach area.

This is our favorite spot along the Jersey Shore, and for good reason. Dakota gets so excited the moment we pull into the parking lot. Seeing her sprint across the sand, ears flapping in the wind, and leap into the waves is the absolute highlight of my week. The dedicated dog area is a wonderful community, filled with friendly owners who are just as happy to see their dogs running free as we are. 🐶❤️
Whether it's a refreshing summer evening visit or an all-day excursion in the off-season, the clean and well-maintained beach is a true dog paradise. The other dogs are always well-behaved, and it’s a pleasure to be part of such a welcoming crowd. As long as Dakota is happy, we're happy, and at this beach, she's in heaven. 🏖️🇺🇸 We'll be back again and again!

The town of Asbury Park and the beach is absolutely beautiful! It was so fun to see so many dog owners with their dogs out to play. Our furry friend had an absolute blast. We will definitely be coming back in the fall!
This park is not open to dogs all day and only after 6 pm. Many dogs were off leash, which is fine but if you have a dog that you are not 100% comfortable with interacting with other dogs — do not bring it here.
Only a dog beach from 6pm to 8 am in the summertime. But very clean and great location just to relax and take in the scenery.
