Bel-las Pizza

Pizza decent pizza over here. Not oily and crispy. New Jersey pizza is pretty good tbh.
Nice spot to come by and grab a pie or a few slices. 👍🏻

I am quite honestly confused by all the negative comments and the comments stating that the food is cold and wrong. I’ve personally never had a bad experience here. The food always arrives hot and within a reasonable time. I think the people that work for them and own it are friendly and accommodating. I can only speak from my experience, but we continue to order from there as a family and enjoy their food.

I know better than to look at Google Ratings that have been posted by users who have less than 5 reviews. They give the place 5 stars by people who usually work there. Anyway, I was feeling lucky that I was there for the first pizza pie of the day, fresh out of the oven. I did not have the option of eating the slice as Bel-Las because they have only 4 chairs, and each was taken by kids playing video games. This place is pick up only. Even if you get one of the 4 chairs, you are sitting amongst inventory of drinks and pizza boxes. Back to the pizza, fresh slice out of the oven was given time to cool and took my first bite. The slice was super greasy and the whole slice fell apart. The crust was way undercooked. Cheese went peeled off everywhere and was left with the sauce. Because of the slice breaking apart, I was able to taste the sauce by itself and it was really good. Great sweet taste. Fresh..the rest was not up to par. People were friendly at the counter. 2.5 stars. It has potential and I am sure it is well liked locally, but for the best pIzza in the county or state on the Pizza Hunters App, they still have some work to do. At least they have the Sauce down. I will add the .5 to give them a 3 because of the milatary/law enforcement discount, that's great that they do that.
