Bolsters and Balls Therapy

My son wakes up excited to go to his sessions and repeatedly asks everyday to go back for more! This is my second kid who has come to Bolsters and Balls and we have been so happy with both of their overall progress, meeting goals the goals that were set for them. The therapy gyms there are new, clean and so kid-friendly and inviting. Both Bibi and Michelle are available, responsive and happy to talk about all questions/concerns. We only have the best things to say!

I researched and talked with so many occupational therapists before bringing my son to work with Bibi, and she did not disappoint. We have had the privilege of working with Bibi for over 8 months now, and I have been waiting to write this review. Bibi has a true gift. She is observant, astute, and on point in her assessments, and is quick to think on her feet and change gears during a session if needed. She is firm but kind, has a sense of humor, and knows just the right amount of push and pull to coax my kid to complete a task. Her sessions are well thought out and jam-packed with not a minute wasted. My kid always looks forward to his sessions with her. He loves her and trusts her, and he has made tremendous strides in his sensory seeking behaviors, motor planning, handwriting and more under her guidance. His teachers at school have also commented on the many clear improvements he has made since he has been working with Bibi, and have asked for her card. I really feel Bibi is genuinely invested in my kid and that she goes above and beyond to help me troubleshoot and plan for his future success. She is also especially gifted with aqua therapy! In only two sessions she strategically acclimated and convinced my very water-aversive kid to all but dunk his head in the water - something he previously made no progress with even with 3 years of weekly traditional swim lessons. I can’t recommend Bibi highly enough!

Working with Bibi has been incredible for my son. Her patience, kindness and expertise has helped my son improve by leaps and bounds. We are so grateful to have found her!

We brought our son Charlie for emotion support and socials skills groups and were very impressed with the staff and space. Bibi goes above and beyond making herself available to us even in the evenings and works exceptionally well with the school and other support professionals. We are very grateful we found her.

BOLSTER AND BALLS a hidden gem in the heart of Teaneck. As a physical therapist for over 20 years, I have trusted the care of my most precious gift my son to Bibi pavel and her extraordinary staff. Their level of professionalism, compassion, communication, expertise,and dedication to each client and family has gone above and beyond all my expectations. My son wakes up every morning and asks “ mommy do I have Bibi today?” In the last six months working with Bibi and her staff my son has show tremendous growth in both fine and gross motor skills, self esteem and confidence, social skills and emotional regulation. I can’t thank Bibi and her staff enough for the impact they have had on my son that has enabled him to be the best he can be! They are a 10 out of 10 in my book.
