BSR Physcal Therapy keeps me walking! Diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis, I have used the services of BSR in Barnegat for 15 years to maintain my walking ability. Special thanks to Tom Michaels for keeping me on a program that keeps me moving. He and his staff are all top notch delivering knowledgable treatment in a compassionate manner. Highly recommend!

My family has been going to BSR for 15 years, so obviously we like it there. lol! I had knee replacement surgery and just finished therapy today. Starting with Debbie who, from when you walk through the door, instantly puts a smile on your face, to my therapist, Dr. Connor Keehn , I could not have asked for a better experience. There’s no way on earth I could’ve gotten through this without Connor. Not only is he an amazing therapist, he encouraged me and gave me the confidence and faith I did not have. He calmed me down when I got stressed and cheered me on when I was discouraged. He’s funny and upbeat with the perfect mix of serious. He was happy to answer the million questions that I had, took his time in doing so, and explained things in terms I could easily understand. Connor has the patience of a saint because I can be a pain. He knew when I was feeling down and knew what to do to lift my spirits. Physical therapists know they’re helping patients, well, physically, but I hope he knows how much he helped me mentally and emotionally through this journey. Thank you, Connor, Debbie, and BSR! Also, thank you Justin and Greg who had to put up with me a couple of times. I appreciate your knowledge and patience as well! I’ll see you all for knee #2!

Greg has been instrumental in relieving the pain in my foot. While arthritis remains an incurable condition, Greg’s efforts have significantly reduced the foot pain. I genuinely appreciate his dedication and expertise. Well done Greg!

Our 14-year-old daughter sustained a concussion during field hockey, and we are so grateful for the care she received here. Dr. Tom and Dr. Connor provided incredibly thorough concussion and vestibular therapy — they truly left no stone unturned. The individual attention they gave her made all the difference in her recovery.

Even her neurologist was so incredibly impressed with their work that she added them to her referral list. Their expertise and professionalism is top notch. Over the many weeks of therapy, our daughter not only healed but also built such a strong rapport with both doctors that she said she would miss coming in.

This team combines knowledge, compassion, and dedication in a way that sets them apart. We highly recommend them.

I enthusiastically recommend my pt Dr. Justin Romano.i had a 6 hour operation to remove a large tumor, my prostate and my bladder.I could barely walk in on my first visit . He patiently listened to my conditions and developed a program for me that included pelvic floor exercises, mobility and orientation, and strength exercises. Each session , I saw increases in strength, mobility and orientation, and increased strength in my core and pelvic floor. My previous experience with a physical therapy was at a local PT where it was an assembly line where you saw a PT assistant for the majority of the session & then the PT gave you a message at the end of your session. Each session with Justin started off with him assessing where I was that session and going over where I was and what we were doing that day. Each exercise that he prescribed for me had a beginner, medium or advanced level of function that made me feel like I could do some challenging activities. He first would demonstrate every movement he wanted me to do, watch me do the movement and then give me feedback.Additionally, he helped motivate you and could break down any exercise into a fashion that provided success for . Later, I was able to see my progress through my increased strength mobility, and an improved self- concept because I could feel my self getting better! Lastly, he cared about how you were feeling both physically and mentally, and made you realize that you need to take things 1 step at a time! Dr. Justin Romano is an excellent PT who has guided me and helped me progress from a life- altering surgery to getting my physical and mental health back , Thank you Justin!
