One of the best shops in Jersey. I’ve been here for a bunch of work with John and it’s always been a great experience. Everyone at the shop is friendly and willing to discuss tattoo ideas. They make you feel at home and work with you on a design you’re comfortable with.
had my 2nd experience with Ian, this time with a larger tattoo, and he is an absolute artist, passionate about the work, gentle in a sense, very precise and to the point. Central Avenue Tattoo is a great spot to get a tattoo.
All artists at this shop are good. I mostly book w Kevin and he is amazing. He has also touched up older tattoos and they look better than the original ones. Nice guy, patient, respectful, & keeps it as gentle as getting a tattoo can be. Highly recommend this shop particularly Kevin.
I got both of my shins tattooed by Rich and it was an amazing experience. The shop is beautiful and comfortable, and he made me feel so welcome. He was precise and didn’t mind having to redo the stencil to get them perfect. It was also fast and painless compared to what I had envisioned. I will definitely come back and recommend him to anyone.
Having spent at least 50 hours with Rich (2 full sleeves and half a back piece), I can offer the highest possible recommendation of his talent, professionalism, humor and most importantly… his results. The art is without a doubt, absolutely gorgeous. If you have any interest in Japanese style ink, he is the guy to see.
